Spectator Area:

The spectator times on Saturday are:

This is based upon anticipated 2 minute start dust windows. If its wet or SNOWING, each stage run duration would be cut in half (1 minute start windows).

The spectator location coordinates are 45* 35.455'N, 121* 28.628'W, 2500ft).

From I-84, take exit 64 in Hood River and travel south on Hwy 35 toward Odell. At 5.4 mile turn left onto Fir Mountain Road (45* 38.326'N, 121* 30.830'W, 632ft). Follow Fir Mtn Rd 6 miles as it climbs to the ridge top rally spectator site.

Note: speed limit is 35 mph along the lower centerlined flat section; 30 mph on the hill climb paved section; and 25 mph on the unpaved upper section. Remember: This road is two way traffic, and respect the locals to whom we are guests! The road is narrow in places. Expect to see Hood River County deputies along the access.

Pedestrian access to and from the spectator viewing infield will be open at all times. A new system of monitoring the crosswalk will allow notification of approaching competitors well in advance to allow safe control of the crossing by safety crew members.

Competitors will be arriving on the level approach road heading northbound. They then execute a ninety right and exit the intersection onto a power climb away from the spectator site.

Dick Hannah Subaru will be present all day at the spectator site offering free hot dogs to rally fans. Stop by and talk with SubaruShawn! Bring your lounge chair, cameras, and appropriate attire for a day in the woods. We hope that all the rally fans come out and enjoy this year's Mt. Hood Rally. Bring your scanner to monitor the rally net radio frequency.
